O nás
Azyzah Theatre was created in 2010 by Vanessa Gendron (CA) a professional actress, director, educator & clown. After years of working in theatres and schools in Ottawa (CA) & Prague ( CZ), she realized a long term dream by creating her own theatre company for children.
In combining her educational, clown, song, theatre, movement and music skills, she created „Azyzah Theatre“, based on her middle name. We presently tour 8 original plays about the adventures of Kiki & Mr.Suits within an English Educational concept.
Every year Teachers and students experience over hundreds of interactive educational English theatre performances! Our supporting teacher packs for before and after activities are active tools that supplement their English lessons.
Suitable for preschool to year 6 ( ages 2 to 12 ), we can perform in any space available to us! (theatres, auditoriums, gyms, classrooms, even outdoors!) Presently touring ( France, Germany, Austria, Slovakia & the Czech Republic.)
Our motto is helping teachers and students in „MAKING The English Language a fun learning experience!

Dipping her toes into musical theatre, she became a singer and dancer for the original musical “Králové Avalonu” which opens at theatre Hybernia in the fall of 2015. She has also been cooperating with Prague Film School and FAMU, as well as playing the minor character of Beáta on TV Prima’s series “Priesta”.
Dáša loves to sing, dance, and entertain in all ways imaginable. Having worked as a summer camp counsellor in her teens, she loves kids. As her own inner child runs rampant most of the time, she strives for her performances to be as much fun for her young audience as they are for her.
HELENA BARTOŠOVÁ
Actress, educator
Helena Bartošová, was born and raised in Prague. Completed her Czech philology studies and became a freelance tutor for the Czech for foreigners language school.
In her teens, she performed with an improv theatre group and since became her passion. While performing with the group Improvariace, she finished her training in Drama Education and started to work with children through Drama and improv classes.
Helena is also a language teacher working mostly with adults students. She implements drama and improv techniques to her classes. Applied improvisation has become her new interest.
Performing for children is most of all great fun for Helena as she loves singing, and dancing with them. She is delighted to combine both her acting and teaching skills within the Azyzah Educational Project
